About the event
Amongst the bison, pronghorn, burrowing owls, and various flora, are the American Serengeti reptiles. With the amount of sunlight the grasslands receive, it is no surprise that many species find refuge in the grasslands. Come and join SPLT's resident herpetologist and snake expert Graham Zephirin as he guides you on an easy group walk to discover what might lie just under your very feet!
Possible species:
Plains Leopard Frog
Plains Gartersnake
Common Snapping Turtles
Painted Turtles
